Took me a whole day to walk them back and get the window out without damaging the zippers. At that point, I used candle wax to lube each side of the zippers, then reinstalled it.
Yes, the corners are a PITA. What I found was when trying to get the zippers past the corners, use one hand to pull on the outside pull tab while reaching in the gap with your other hand and simultaneously pulling on the inside tab. This helps to distribute force evenly to both sides of the zipper which makes it easier to get around the corners.
